Sony tv won't power on - My Sony x900h that I have since 5 weeks has kind of the same behavior. If the TV is off for any length of time (overnight, a couple hours, not exactly sure how long it takes) then it won't respond to the remote at all (no light on the led etc.) The only way to turn it on is to unplug the power cable. It's kind of super annoying.
