Miracles, which mostly focus on healing and curing, with some non-combat spells thrown in for good measure. Pyromancy now scales in effectiveness with either your faith or intellect stats, but has no hard requirements to be used either way, so it can be used by anyone.Sorcerer is the best option imo because you start off with a staff and a decent spell that has 30 casts (and you can get to two attunement stats right away. Then you just buy a second soul spear from Old hag melentia, boom, 60 soul spears). Use that setup and level faith until you unpetrify Rosabeth of Melfia for all that pyromancy goodness.Pyromancy is more of a supplementary skill rather than a primary one like sorcery or hexes. I use pyromancy to a great extent to augment my melee warrior, and it's great for PvE and against most bosses. But I get absolutely rekt against anyone in a cage-match who uses straight sorceries in PvP.Pyromancy and hexes are my favorite. All in with level ups or half assing it. I am at 52 faith, 52 intelligence, and 60 attunement. If you want the most powerful spells (Soul Geyser - 64 INT) and miracle (Sunlight Spear - 55 FTH, although I think WOTG might be stronger, haven't gotten it yet) you need to be there..
