Loosen and remove the drain plug in a counterclockwise direction using a 3/8 square bit or rachet and allow the old Ram 1500 transfer case fluid to thoroughly drain into a suitable waste oil drain pan. How To Step 5.For 1500 they both appear to say 75w85 for front axle, but for 2500/3500 one says 75w85 and the other says 75w90. I wonder if they updated them or something.
