It might be worth $100 in parts... I own a Lefever Nitro Special. In particular one from 1928. Its in 12 gauge instead of 16. The 16 gauge wont draw the same premium. The 12 has 2 3/4 chambers, the 16's had 2 9/16.Some of these guns are not graded. In most cases they were Special Order or Presentation Guns. Some of these guns will have the grade stamped on the stock grip, under the grip cap. The post-LAC Ithaca Lefevers don’t have grades. The model (most frequently “Nitro Special”) is stamped on the barrels. There were two other Grades not mentioned..
