2024 Dilated 1 centimeter at 36 weeks

Went in for my 36 week appointment today and was told that I am 1 cm dilated. Next week she will strip my membrane because we are trying to go into labor naturally before 39 weeks as I am trying to have a VBAC this time. anybody else dilated at 36 week appointment?. Drivenc

I was 37 weeks yesterday at my appointment and 1 cm dilated 50% effaced. My dr plans on doing a membrane sweep on Tuesday at my 38 week appointment. that’s awesome progress! With my first I was around 70% effaced when they first checked around 35/36 weeks. I went to 80% around 37w and was 90% my last appointment at 39w. I had my daughter at 39w5d. So it took about a month total. And I think I was around 1cm dilated those last few weeks.
