Easily one of the best I have ever had. He is super kind, funny, and genuinely wants you to do well in the class. He is great at answering questions and explaining concepts multiple times until you understand. Science was never my favorite but he made it so much fun. 10/10 recommend, you wont regret it!Lectures are expertly performed, he encourages questions. He explains concepts so well. He allows for extra time during quizes and tests. 3 tests are 75% and HW and Quizzes are 25%. Office hours are helpful. Assigns alot of practice problems but only 1/4 of them are actually due. Doesn't use canvas. My favorite professor ever. Respect.Great professor. I think he said this is his first time teaching intermediate 3 at UNF and he is doing a great job. He is very clear in what he expects from students. You have long-ish Connect learn smarts and practice exercises for each chapter, as well as 3 take-home exams that are open book. He can be hard to reach, went months without getting grades in, and didn't go in until the last day of the semester. I had 30 ungraded assignments and quizzes until the last day. Homework wasn't too bad. Every 2 weeks, 3-5 quizzes, and at least 4 assignments were due. This teacher gives extra credit so take her! Professor Carey bases her grades on five projects throughout the semester. The projects themselves aren't extremely hard but they do require a some work.
