First, because you need to remove the rear irons of the 365XL in order to mount an optic, you lose the ability to cowitness. That is, the dot is now your only sight option. The 507k however has a notch in the rear of the housing that mimics rear irons. The only problem I have with the sentinel is the adjustments do not have a click. That might not be a problem for most but I personally like the clicks when sighting in my red dots.
