I know nothing about the old Delta lathes but I see them on Ebay selling for $2500 to $4000 Comes with 3 chucks - 10" and two 12" chucks and alot of other tooling. Lathe was in a tool room and was not a production lathe.The problem with the 14" Rockwell lathe is the headstock and the way the spindle bearings get oil, it cannot be too thick of an oil. Lubrication is by splashing around by the gearing. Plus the back gear runs on bronze bushings. They need a light oil to lubricate them. I had to do a total headstock rebuild because of the wrong oil was used and ....
